How We Work
At HeadSync, we work integratively, meaning therapy is tailored to the person, group or organisation we are supporting.
Our approach brings together talking therapy, trauma-informed practice, creative reflection, somatic awareness and nervous system support. We work gently and collaboratively, helping people feel safe, heard and more connected to themselves.
Who We Support
We support adults, young people, older adults, groups and organisations with a range of emotional, relational and mental health needs.
At HeadSync, you do not need to have the ‘right words’ for what you are experiencing. Therapy can help you begin to understand yourself more deeply, make sense of your patterns, and move towards healing, growth and reconnection.
We can support you with:
- ADHD and neurodiversity
- Anger and emotional regulation
- Anxiety, panic and overthinking
- Attachment styles and relationship patterns
- Bereavement, grief and loss
- Borderline and narcissistic traits
- Depression and low mood
- Eating disorders and body image concerns
- Guilt, shame and self-criticism
- Loneliness, isolation and life transitions
- Meaning, purpose, identity and legacy
- Relationship difficulties
- Self-esteem and confidence
- Stress, burnout and overwhelm
- Trauma, PTSD, CPTSD and dissociation
- Work-related issues and life transitions
- Healing after violence, abuse or difficult life experiences
- Addiction and recovery support
- Health changes, ageing and loss of independence
Our approach is gentle, collaborative and trauma-informed, supporting the whole person – mind, body, emotions, relationships and life story.
Therapy with Charlotte & Azita
At HeadSync, therapy is offered by Charlotte Phillips and Azita Sayer, both qualified Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellors and registered members of the BACP.
Charlotte is a Specialist Trauma Practitioner and a Holistic, Integrative and Creative Arts Therapist who brings together talking and cognitive behavioural therapy, trauma-informed practice, somatic awareness and creative approaches to support healing and self-understanding. She has completed a CPCAB Diploma in Psychological Trauma Therapy and is working towards accreditation with the BACP.
Azita offers warm, professional, humanistic and integrative therapy, supporting clients with emotional wellbeing, relationships, life changes and personal growth.
Although Charlotte and Azita work separately with their own clients, they share a gentle, relational and trauma-informed approach. When you enquire, we can help you think about which therapist may feel like the right fit for you and your needs.
Affordable Therapy
We believe therapy should be as accessible as possible. Alongside our standard therapy offer, HeadSync provides affordable therapy pathways where suitable.
This may include sliding-scale therapy, funded therapy through organisations or charities, and low-cost therapy with placement therapists as our team grows.
Organisations, Workshops & Groups
HeadSync works with charities, residential homes, workplaces and community organisations to provide therapy and wellbeing support for individuals, groups, staff, residents and service users.
Packages can include funded 1:1 therapy, group wellbeing sessions, creative and somatic workshops, reflective practice, staff support and residential home wellbeing sessions.
